The court’s instructions distinguish the special-admission motion, payment, admission order, and subsequent e-filing registration. Coordinate access and filing responsibility before a deadline approaches.

Coordinate current local-rule requirements, conferral, filing conventions, and dispute procedures with the team responsible for the merits.

Must every specially admitted lawyer retain local counsel?
Current Rule 2.01 does not state a general designation requirement. Review the rule and any case-specific order; firms may still retain Florida co-counsel for procedural and substantive support.
Can an applicant file a special-admission motion without existing e-filing access?
The court’s current instructions identify a web portal or paper submission, and filing by co-counsel with e-filing rights when applicable. Check the court’s instructions before submitting.
Can your role extend beyond admission?
Yes. We can discuss hearings, filings, discovery, trial support, and substantive patent, trademark, or copyright assignments, subject to conflicts, availability, and an agreed scope.
